When I first caught wind of the Mi Vida Loca Remix eyeshadow palette a few months back, I just knew that I had to make it mine. I mean the colors, the wheel layout, the packaging were just too much for my little heart to handle.
You guys all know that I’m a BIG Kat Von D fan, there’s just something about her products that makes me want/need them all. The quality is amazing and her artwork is even more amazing. So yeah I cave in and bought my self this pretty little thing!
The Mi Vida Loca Remix Eyeshadow Palette is Kat Von D’s main holiday palette for 2015, it is a Sephora exclusive products and retails for 71$.
This palette is definitely one of the most unique ones that I have seen in terms of holiday releases that have come out this year. To create this palette Kat asked her fans which of her palettes was their favourite and, as you can probably guess, Mi Vida Loca was the winner. So, that palette was the inspiration behind this remix.
It dose come with this little sheet that shows a couple of different looks You can archive /how to do it (a bit like the one from her contouring kit). I absolutely love the packaging. Kat Von D actually hand drew the entire design witch is amazing. I love the fact that she’s using her amazing artistic talent to create those one one of a kind packaging for all her products. The outer sleeve of the palette is made of a really nice thick durable cardboard, and the back of the packaging does have exactly what’s inside it.
Once you slide the palette out it’s like you’re staring at a rainbow. It’s gorgeous! There are 24 eyeshadows total, the neutral shades in the center (7) and the colorful shades surrounding it (17).
The formula is good. Like pretty much all her products the colours are super pigmented, so a little goes a long way. I prefer the Matt colors over the shimmy ones, I feel like they last a bit longer. Every one of these shadows is buttery and blendable, some are just a little more sheer than others. Still, the quality is really good.

From left to right:Muse, Echo, Dark, Wave, Synth, Hyperballad, Lemmy, Misfit, Vinyl

I think if you are a fan of bright colours, or you want something versatile, you should grab this palette before it’s gone for good. Let me know if you have any questions or ideas for looks using these shades!
