I don’t know if you’re like me but I’ve always associated September with the beginning of a new year. Maybe it has something to do with all the back to school prep… During the year it can be so easy to get carried away with all the daily noises surrounding us, and lose sight of what goals we have set for ourself at the beginning of the year (here are my goals for the year). September is the perfect time to revisit them and give yourself a fresh start. Today I thought I would give you a little update on my goals and share some of the things I like to do to get myself geared up for the rest of the year.
My goals for so far
As far as personal goals go, I’ve been fairly on track (I’m still working on my plan of moving to StoryBrooke though). As you guys know one of my main goal was to go to the World Youth Day in Poland which I did last July. This was such a life-changing trip for me. If you want to read more about it click here.
I got rid of all the drama that was going on in my life which for me is a true blessing and I’m trying my best to adopt and keep a healthy lifestyle (thanks to the lovely Adriene I’m a yoga junkie now).
My 52 Books in 52 Week Challenge is going well (if you have any good read recommendation for me feel free to let me know in the coming section down below!)
I go to church every Sunday (or so) and I am involved in a charity group that comes and aides to little kids in my hometown.
As far as blogging/social networking goals go, I feel like I had a good start but still have ways to go. I got pretty good at pre-planning and scheduling a head but since I got back from my trip I’m having a hard time with it. I don’t know if it’s due to the fact that I was away from the Internet for a whole month and a half, but I’m having a hard time getting back in the swing of things.
But then again I am not too worried about this I know myself and I know that I will get back in the groove a things as soon as I set my mind on it.
