Monthly Favourites| May 2015

Bonjour, hope you’re all well!
It’s time for the monthly favourites!! May as been a really good month actually, and I’ve discovered a lot of things this month(beauty, skincare, and hair related ) that I want to share with you.

For summer time I love a natural glowing skin, I just think that there’s some products that are brilliant for boosting the radiance of your skin.I’ve been using the Body Shop vitamin C range for ages, the line has 2 new products and I’ve been trying the Glow boosting moisturizer for dull, tired, grumpy skin (full review here ) recently, and I just looooove it! The smell is very zingy/zesty, it is very light Weight (which I like). It helps to energize and hydrate your skin.

I also like the Body Shop Vitamin E Eyes Cube(15$), it’s refreshing anti-fatigue eye stick. In one gentle sweep, it instantly revives and refreshes the eye area to fight signs of tiredness caused by dryness. this is definitely a saviour for my puffy tired eyes days.

From the first time I’ve tried it, I just fell in love with the Cover FX Cover Drops Foundation. This is one of the best foundation I’ve tried in my entire life! What’s so great about this, is that you just have to mix the drops with a moisturizer, a primer, or even a facial oil and it gives you the perfect coverage (and the perfect shade)! On sunny days I just mix it with my sunscreen and I’m good to go.

For mascara I’m using my trusty Benefits Roller Lash(29$) on a daily basis. I’m absolutely obsessed with it, I like the way it curls my lashes. I already have long lashes but with this mascara I feel like I have this doll like eyes and I adore it.

The Bobbi Brown Hot Nudes Palette (76$) is my go to when I want to create a subtle gradations, with bright pops of color, for a night out, or keep it simple and natural for a day to day / more juvie look. It is a limited-edition eye palette filled with “Subtle nudes with pops of head-turning color.”—Bobbi Brown

I’m very picky when it comes to my hair care regiment, and with the summer coming, I have to be sure that the product that I’m using will help my hair stay strong and hydrated. I’ve been using this Vitamin E Penetrating Oil by OGX (8$)and my hair definitely looks healthier, and shinier. This concentrated infusion of Vitamin E helps heal brittle, damaged hair.

Last but not least, lipstick! Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipstick (25$), what is there not to love about this! Bright, vibrant, long lasting colours, the formula is really good and doesn’t dry out your lips.
Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector ‘Petal Shimmer’(24$)this is definitely one of my everyday favourite for a good reason. It is a lovely subtle comfortable gloss and the colour are very flattering.
Let me know what your favorite products have been for the month!
Oh! and I hope everyone’s exams went well!

Love, Helene Xxx

I’m obsessing over the Cover FX drops for a month now. They must get into my life fast. Big fan of the brand too, I couldn’t live without their products for my problematic skin. Clarins is the only staple for my lips for a few years now. We have similar tastes in beauty 🙂
